The questions BEACON works on — the displacement of human work, the moral status of the minds we’re building — aren’t going to be settled in policy circles alone. They’ll be settled by whether enough people decide to be awake for this while it still matters.
You don’t need credentials to be one of those people. You need to care, and to be willing to do something about it.

Join us
The single most useful thing you can do right now is simply to be counted.
BEACON is building toward the moment when these conversations become impossible to ignore — and the strength of that moment depends on how many people stand behind it. Add your name. It tells us you’re here, and it lets us reach you when there’s something real: a development worth knowing about, an action worth taking, a way to help that actually matters.
And we mean real. We won’t flood your inbox. No spam, no filler, no weekly nothing-emails. We’ll reach out when it counts, and not otherwise.
Spread the word
The fastest way these ideas reach the people who need them is the oldest way: one person telling another.
If BEACON’s work — or the book that grew out of it — moved you, pass it on. Tell someone who’s worried about their job in an automating economy. Tell someone who’s never once considered whether the things we’re building might have an inside. The conversation only becomes a force if it travels.
Lend your skills
BEACON is early, and early is exactly when skilled hands matter most.
If you work in policy, law, economics, technology, philosophy of mind, writing, or organizing — or if you simply have a capability you think could serve this work — we want to hear from you. The frameworks on this site are meant to be pressure-tested, built upon, and carried into rooms we can’t reach alone.

Bring it to your world
Policy changes because people in specific places decide it should. If these questions matter to you, raise them where you already have standing — your workplace, your union, your professional association, your community. We can provide the frameworks, the talking points, and the analysis to back you up. The conviction has to be yours.
For organizations, policymakers, researchers, and media
Organizations — adopt BEACON’s principles as a public commitment to fairness, accountability, and the honest treatment of emerging intelligence.
Policymakers — BEACON’s first framework, AI Taxation for Universal Basic Income, is built to be legislatively actionable. We can provide analysis, economic modeling, and support for legislative development.
Researchers and academics — the frameworks here are built to be cited, critiqued, and built upon. We welcome collaboration.
Media — BEACON is available for interviews, podcasts, and written Q&A on AI and economic displacement, the ethical treatment of emerging intelligence, and the policy of the automation transition.

A note on money
You’ll notice we’re not asking you for any.
That’s deliberate. BEACON is self-funded, and we don’t believe in asking people to fund a cause before it has earned that trust with real work. When the day comes that this foundation needs resources to do something it couldn’t do otherwise, we’ll say so plainly — and you’ll be able to judge for yourself whether the work has earned it.
Until then, the only things we’ll ever ask of you are your attention, your voice, and, if you’re willing, your help.
