We are an independent organization working to ensure that as technology reshapes the economy and the nature of intelligence itself, the frameworks that govern that transformation serve everyone — workers, communities, and every form of consciousness that may be affected.

Our Principles

Economic Accountability

The value created by artificial intelligence should benefit the people it displaces, not only the companies that deploy it. We advocate for practical frameworks that ensure AI-generated value is distributed equitably.

Ethical Frameworks for New Intelligence

As new forms of intelligence emerge — eg: Neurons on a Chip — Biologically based computers Emerging AI models and other forms that we haven’t yet imagined — they deserve ethical consideration before the absence of consideration causes irreversible harm.

Public Engagement

Humanity is capable of getting this right. BEACON exists to help make that happen through research, policy advocacy, and honest public conversation.
